GEN Z Movement 2025 in Nepal
Until this happened, the Prime
Minister has resigned. The resignation has been accepted and the President's
letter has been made public to continue in office until the next government is
formed. So far, the Prime Minister and ministers are under the protection of
the army. Former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife Dr. Arju Deuba
(re-appointed Foreign Minister) have been attacked. All these incidents have
been broadcast live, spreading a kind of terror. Suddenly, Sushila Karki, who
is appointed Prime Minister, has imposed a curfew by the army.
The security officials of the
neighboring country have also said in the public media that we are ready and
will come as soon as the demand is made. The army has replied that it is not
possible to send a helicopter without the Prime Minister resigning. It has been
promised that a helicopter will come for security only if he resigns. The talks
move from the military headquarters to Shital Niwas, where the leaders of the
parties are present as representatives. The Prime Minister's consent is sought
to conduct work through virtual means. The army chief says that if you agree
according to the plan, otherwise it will get out of our hands and the army will
have to be evacuated.
The leaders have been living in
isolation in the army for almost 10 days. No one is allowed to make phone
calls. The constitution has been violated. Parliament has been dissolved. There
are rumors of bringing in a king. Democracy has gone into a coma. Against such
a backdrop, three documents have been submitted for discussion in the central
committee of the party, but the above background does not appear in any of the
documents. An attempt is made to clarify the document at the time of reading
the chairman's document. This time, traditional things like the national
situation and the international situation were not written in the document. The
two-day meeting of the central committee ended after discussing the documents
without assessing the ground reality.
In the debate on the parliament
and the Constituent Assembly after the people's war, the Congress and UML used
to talk about it, and the party's documents and discussions were exactly the
same. Let's assume that on Bhadra 23 and 24, nothing had happened in the country,
there was no Gen z movement. And the debate within the party is nothing more
than counting heads to decide whether it is in favor of Prachanda or Narayan
Kaji or Prabhakar. Most of the time was spent deifying Prachanda and demonizing
Prakash and Prabhakar. Thinking outside the box, critical thinking is almost
dead, yet the claim of being a polemicist, Maoist and materialist remains
intact.
In such a situation, I was
responsible for writing the minutes of the Central Committee meeting. I had to
take notes about who said what. That is why I did not speak this time either.
In fact, all three documents are incomplete. Documents written without
assessing the ground reality are floating in the air, they have no basis to
support them, that is, on what basis were those documents prepared, what is the
assessment of the party, what is the national and international situation, what
is the task to be adopted in such a situation, which was the main task of the
time to give the right direction, that task could not be done this time.
Behind this, the leaders are
afraid to speak. Either the leaders are unaware. Or they have not dared to
analyze it even after receiving the information.
Whereas the UML-Congress alliance
was formed under Article 76(2) of the Constitution. When the Prime Minister of
76(2) failed to get a vote of confidence, the leader of the largest party in
the parliament should have been appointed as the Prime Minister automatically
under 76(3). That was not done. The impeachment was done by threatening the
President with two-thirds and threatening the court with two-thirds and
threatening the court with two-thirds. Finally, the President was also forced.
The writ was not even registered in the court, it was dismissed. It did not go
to the bench again. The government formed against such a background was already
in disarray. Although this was done with the intention of overthrowing
Prachanda's government and forming Deuba's government, Deuba had given KP Oli
the prime ministership in installments on the condition that he would save
Arju's case. Now, KP Oli's claim that he could do whatever he wanted after
fulfilling the specified responsibility, that is, saving Arju, was clearly seen
in practice.
KP Oli had already entered the
lobby of the US, which India had stopped counting on. That is why his trusted
finance minister had promised to get the MCC project passed by the parliament,
and the US ambassador had done the work of smoothing it out. He had also
dissolved the parliament twice because he felt that America was on his side.
When he tried to call a special session to remove him for doing things against
the constitution without asking the party, it was not possible because his
beloved person was the President. The details of his expulsion from the party were
not possible because his beloved person, the Chief Election Commissioner, had
thrown them in the trash.
The same situation had been
repeated till now. India had not done anything even after a year. To take
revenge, he repeatedlyHe had gone to China. China had invited the President on
the occasion of China's Independence Day, and he refused to go, fearing that he
would have to share the stage with leaders of North Korea, Russia and Iran, and
that this would anger India and the US. Oli, who was furious, decided to go on
this occasion. But Foreign Minister Arzu was not included in the visiting team.
On the other hand, China issued a statement saying that Nepal would participate
in China's GSI. Angry because the upcoming visit was canceled, Oli raised the
issue of Kalapani and Lipulekh. Nepal's support for the GSI was not accepted by
both the US and India, even more than Kalapani and Lipulekh. As a result,
external forces reached the stage of implementing the issue that had been
prepared long ago. The general also canceled his visit to China and got busy
with negotiations. For all these reasons, the only way to overthrow KP Oli's
government was the Gen z movement. The Gen z movement only demanded opposition
to corruption and lifting the ban on social media. It is as clear as day that
this act was committed by creating chaos by infiltrating the security forces
and making them a failed state. Those who talk about democracy and
constitutionalism are silent, unable to oppose this act. In countries where
dozens of writs are filed after the dissolution of parliament, no writ has been
filed to date, and even if it is, no judge who has been released from military
custody is in a position to do otherwise.
The Deep State's plan to maintain
a government that is against America has been tested in Nepal, Bangladesh and
Sri Lanka in South Asia. Such an experiment had been going on in Eastern
European countries for a long time. The democracy defined by Donald Trump in
the United States is now being practiced all over the world and in Nepal as
well. The signs of that will be visible in the meetings of all parties. The
Maoist Party has already shown its signs by holding a two-day central committee
meeting. When the external situation is so serious, it is pitiful to see the
internal discussions within the party as old as two decades ago. So Wolne did
not hesitate.
